Private Label

The Trustico® partner service offers many different SSL Certificate brands. We will never send your customers to our retail site or contact them with marketing material wherever possible.

Essentially, we regard you as our customer and your customers are exactly that - yours. During the ordering process we may be required to collect information about the end user for validation purposes, however you are welcome to use your partner details in all other aspects.

SSL Certificate Validity and Partner Responsibilities

Partners purchasing SSL Certificates on behalf of their customers should understand the distinction between the license validity period and the validity of each issued SSL Certificate. SSL Certificate licenses can be purchased for periods of up to five years, however due to industry regulations set by the Certificate Authority (CA)/Browser Forum each issued SSL Certificate has a maximum validity of 200 days, generally issued for 199 days.

During a multi-year license period you must reissue the SSL Certificate before each expiry to maintain continuous protection for your customer. Reissue is provided at no additional cost throughout the license period. Failure to reissue before an SSL Certificate expires will result in security warnings being displayed to your customer's website visitors, even if the license period is still active. API Access

With our partner system you are able to submit orders via our fully automated ordering system or allow your customers to order directly via your own customized ordering flow.
